Krigsseilerregisteret's editors

The editors of Krigsseilerregisteret’s website are Bjørn Tore Rosendahl and Ole Jørgen S. Abrahamsen from ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre, and Thorbjørn Solberg Andersen from Lillesand Seamen’s Association.

Krigsseilerregisteret is run by the Norwegian Centre for the History of Seafarers at War, lead by Bjørn Tore Rosendahl. He is a historian (Ph.D.) with a doctoral thesis about seafarers at war. Ole Jørgen S. Abrahamsen is a historian (master) with a daily responsibility for Krigsseilerregisteret. That means that he is working on developing the site as a resource, controlling that the site works, and the point of contact with the IT company Oxidane. Abrahamsen supervises the coordination of the day-to-day work of registering seafarers at war, which is conducted by both employees at ARKIVET and volunteers.

Thorbjørn Solberg Andersen is one of the primary collaborators for Krigsseilerregisteret. He coordinates the communication between the seamen’s associations throughout the country that is engaged in collecting documentation and registration of seafarers at war.
