HANSEN, NILS KARSTEIN, matros, Buksnes. Født 30. oktober 1916 i Buksnes, s. av Henrik Hansen, f. 1879 i Buksnes, og Agda f. Jakobsen, f. 1887 s. st. Var på nøytralitetsvakt som utskreven dekksmann på p/s Eidsvold, og omkom da båten ble senket i Ofotfjorden 9. april 1940.
