NILSEN, ALF JEREMIAS, transportarbeider og sjømann, Tromsø. Født 31. mai 1918 i Tromsø, s. av Johan Nilsen, l. 1886 i Balsfjord, og Ane Pauline f. Johannessen, f. 1890 i Malangen i Balsfjord. Var på nøytralitetsvakt som utskreven dekksmann og tjenestegjorde som kanoner på p/s Eidsvold. Omkom da skipet ble torpedert 9. april 1940 i Ofotfjorden.
