Registernummer under krigen: London 5440,
"Nordvard" ble kapret av tyske "Penguin" 16.9.1940. Med prisemannskap ombord ble skiet ført til Bordeaux med ankomst 13.12.1940. Mannskapet internert, men løslatt og repatriert til Oslo 3.5.1941 med "Donau."
