M/S Ringwood ble kapret av tysk raider i Stillehavet 14.10.1940. Mannskapet ble overført til raideren og senere landsatt i Bordeaux. Ble så sendt videre til tysk fangeleir. Frigitt og hjemsendt til Norge med s/s Donau, med ankomst Oslo 3.5.1941.
Kom senere til U.K. igjen fra Sverige 4.4.1943.
