Londonregisteret:
Registernummer under krigen: London 39114, 41967.
Han var påmønstret en av de såkalte "Kvarstadbåtene" som prøvde å bryte ut av svensk arrest. Skipet han var ombord på ble innhentet av tyske fartøyer og båten ble senket av eget mannskap og Willy Berle Henriksen ble tatt til fange den 1. april 1942, og sendt til Tyskland. I følge brev datert den 13. juli 1945 fra norsk Skipsfartskontor, Gøteborg; Kommet til Sverige 28-4-45 fra Neuengamme.
