Registernummer under krigen: London 41161.

"TIRRANNA" ble kapret i det Indiske hav av tysk hjelpekrysser "Atlantis". Skipet ble tatt som prise og ført til Frankrike, men ble senket at britisk u-båt, HMS"TUNA". Mannskapet satt som fanger i Royan til de ble frigitt og sendt til Norge hvor de ankom Oslo 17.12.1940.
