Var stuert på D/S THYRA, og omkom da skipet sank den 27.mai 1941 etter kollisjon med et annet skip i konvoien, på vei fra Clyde til Canada.
Minnehallen:
THYRA var på reise i konvoi fra Clyde til Canada da hun 27. mai 1941 kolliderte med eskortefartøyet Leamington i posisjon 5225 N og 1922 W. Thyra sank. Leamington slapp fra kollisjonen med skader i hekken og vannfyllt forpigg. Hun fisket opp de overlevende og fortsatte med konvoien. Fire av THYRA`s besetning omkom, samt en norsk maskinsjef som var passasjer ombord.
