CARLSON, LORANG, fyrbøter, Askøy. Født 29. august 1906 i Gøteborg, s. av Erik og Beda Lyngqvist. Gift 1933 i Bergen med Borghild Angeltveit, f. 1907 i Åsane. 3 barn. Var før krigen kelner på VEGA. Reiste ut som fyrbøter med D/S THYRA i januar 1940, og omkom 27. mai 1941 da skipet sank etter kollisjon med et skip i konvoien, på vei fra Clyde til Canada.
Familien opplyser i sitt kravbrev til Direktoratet at sjømannen hadde satt igang prosess med å søke norsk statsborgerskap, men at krigen stanset prosessen.
