Gift 1937 i Kvinnherad med Helga Elina Thorsen, f. 1906 s. st. 1 barn. Maskinist- og motorskole. Var på M/S VIBRAN, og omkom da skipet forsvant på vei til Halifax, etter å ha gått fra Cardiff 18. september 1942.
