"Mønstringssjef Harris Gregersen trekker seg tilbake", Krigsseileren, 2/1980, s. 30:
"Harris Gregersen er født i Måsøy i Finnmark, og han er 69 år gammel. Han seilte tidlig til sjøs og hadde utdannelse som styrmann og radiotelegrafist da krigen brøt ut. I alle krigsårene seilte han i utenriksfart. Etter krigen valgte han landjorden. Innen formidlings- og mønstringsvesenet har han virket i Narvik, Bodø og Trondheim før han kom til Oslo. Han vil bli savnet i shipping- og sjømannsmiljøet i Oslo for sitt lune vesen og sin spesielle måte å løse problemene på".
