Historikk 1. verdenskrig:
Sjømannen vitnet ved sjøforklaring holdt den 9. mai. 1917, satt i Bergen byretts lokale, etter at DS CAMILLA ble senket 1. april i pos. N 56.32' E 03.59' av tysk ubåt UB-35 ca. 150 n.m. W av Skudenes på reise New York til Rotterdam med hvete. 8 personer omkom.
