Seilte i alliert fart i den norske handelsflåte under krigen og omkom da M/S BORGESTAD opptok kamp med tysk panserkrysser ADMIRAL HIPPER og ble senket ved østkysten av England den 12.februar 1941.
Oscar Torvald Johan Austenå tildelt St.Olavsmedaljen og Haakom VII`s 70 års medalje post mortem.
