"Med M/S TALISMAN fart på Far EAST TIL JANUAR 1942 deretter fat på New York/West Africa. Gikk mest alene utenom konvoiene. med D/T MARATHON gikk vi første tur til Molotovsk i Hvitehavet med last av toluol, deretter Middelhavet, U.S., UK. - - Til Molotovsk ble vi med konvoi fra Loch Ewe i oktober 1944. Under angrep utenfor Fugløy skjøt vi ned et tysk torpedofly med våre Oerlicons. Ellers ingen større opplevelser av interesse".
