28.8.1942. Overført til Det norske flyvåpen - tilknyttet den kjente norske 330 fly-skvaderonen.
Karl Evensen gikk inn i Flyvåpenet i Skottland i 1942. Skytter på Albatross og Catelina fly - Etter krigen ansatt på Sola i 333 Skvadronen fram til 1964/65.
Deretter ansatt som lærer på Luftforsvarets Tekniske Skole, Kjevik Kristiansand til han gikk av med pensjon i i 1979.
