Dir. for sjømenn:MT Brarena ankom Napoli 4.6.40 og ble tilbakeholdt. Mannskapet tatt til fange den 23.9.40 og sendt til konsentrasjonsleir i Firenze. Frigitt 6.6.41 og ankom Gøteborg den 9.6.41. Var 1. styrmann på Kvarstad-båten M/T B. P. Newton som rømte fra Gøteborg 31.3.42. Fikk 16.8.44 tillatelse til å arbeide ved Compagnie Universelle du Canal Maritime de Suez som los.
Sjøhistorie: Sjømannstjeneste etter fylte 15 år, 22.19/30 måneder uten mønstring.
Første mønstring registrert i 1927 med Motorskip "RAILA" av Oslo tilhørende HAGBART WAAGE, Oslo.

Rolf Olav Evensen var 1.styrmann ombord i Motortank "B. P. NEWTON" som var blant de Kvarstad -
