Vi har forespurt hos Riksarkivet om Gustavsen seilte på andre skip under 2.verdenskrig og har mottatt følgende svar.

Det kan ikke sees at Gustavsen har tjenestegjort på skip disponert av Nortraship under krigen. Vi har heller ikke funnet ham registrert i arkivene etter Direktoratet for sjømenn etter krigen.
