"Dei har hatt følgje gjennom livet, dei to hardingagutane Gunnar Gravdal (82) og Arthur Eikeland (83). Dei budde berre nokre meter frå kvarandre i barndommen, og dei hamna begge i Fusa - der dei også bur i same bygda - Nordtveitgrend. Dei gifte seg same året (1948), og med kvar si søster. Endå krigen opplevde dei delvis i lag - som uteseglarar i handelsflåten".
