Skytter nr. 2277: Melkstavik, Odd Birger. Født 25.4.1922 på Frøya ved Trondheim. 

Han ble utdannet til skytter på SSH Travers Island i tiden 18.4.1944 til 22.9.1944. 

Gjorde deretter tjeneste ombord på:

M/T KALDFONN fra 23.9.1944 til 11.9.1945 

Reiste hjem til Norge med D/S STAVANGERFJORD og ble dimittert i Oslo 30.9.1945.
