Påmønstret "D/S JOLANDA" 13. juli 1940 til 30. november 1940. Skipet har ikke latt seg identifisere.
Bosatte seg i Australia og ble australsk statsborger i 1964.

Yrke: Sjømann, fartstid ca. 5 år.
Var den 9. april 1940 ombord på D/S ALTAIR, og var ombord da skipet ble torpedert den 18. juni 1940 ca. 300 nm vest av Irland. Besetningen kom seg i to båter. Senere tok de opp 20 mann fra to spanske trålere som var senket. Alle ble reddet.
Noe senere var han ombord på M/S NUEVA GRANADA som han mønstret av i New York
og meldte seg til Den norske marine.
Han ble utdannet til skytter på SSH Travers Island.
Dimittert ved SSH New York den 26. november 1945.
