Registernummer under krigen: London 95402.
M/S Tirranna ble kapret av tysk hjelpekrysser "Atlantis" 10. juni 1940 på reise Melbourne til Mombasa. Ble så senket da skipet var på vei til Frankrike av engelsk ubåt HMS "Tuna" utenfor Gironde den 22. september 1940. I alt 10 sjøfolk omkom. Blandt dem var messepike Sigrid Helene Olsen.
Mannskapet ble internert i Frankrike og senere hjemsendt med ankomst Oslo den 17. desember 1940.
