"He was there on 9.4.40 and the following day he proceeded to Brandebø in order to volunteer for service with the machine gun corps, commanding officer: LANGVIK, who according to LARSEN, is now in the U.K. LARSEN himself served under Lt. OPPEDAL.
He took part in the hostilities in the sectors Hønefoss and Kleken. He states that they found themselves surrounded by the enemy towards the end of April, but he managed to escape as a civilian and returned to Drammen about 1.5.40."
"1.5.40-March 1941. LARSEN states that he remained unemployed as long as possible as he was averse to working for the Germans. [... He] left Norway for Sweden at the beginning of March 1941. [...]
Embarked: Stockholm. Arrived: 27.2.[43]. Leuchars ex aircraft G-AGDE."
