Norges Sjøfarts og Handelstidende 24. januar 1946:
"Overmaskinist C. G. Tage Mark var med på en av de fem norske båtene som brøt blokaden ved Gøteborg og gikk til England i januar 1941. Han var med ved organiseringen av arbeidet som forberedte aksjonen. I 1943 fikk han St. Olavsmedaljen "for personlig innsats i Den norske handelsmarine under krigen".
