LUND, LARS SJURSEN, donkeymann, Vossestrand. Fødd 20. april 1915 i Vossestrand, s. til Sjur T. Lund, d. 1939, og Guri f. Fjell. Var nokre år gardsarbeidar og fiskar. Drog til sjøs 1934. Var frå hausten 1939 på d/s Hosanger, og sette livet til 27. januar 1940 då skipet sokk i Nordsjøen etter ein eksplosjon, på veg frå Göteborg til Leith. 17 mann miste livet.
