MALMGREN, LUDVIG ELMAR, skipsfører, Porsgrunn. Født 20. august 1905 i Porsgrunn, s. av Ludvig Malmgren, f. 1881 i Oslo, og Elisabeth f. Nilsen, f. 1886 i Porsgrunn. Gift 1932 med Ruth Larsen, f. 1908 i Porsgrunn. 1 barn. Styrmanns- og skipperskole, Sjømilitære korps. Var fører på d/s Glitrefjeld, og omkom 16. desember 1939 da skipet krigsforliste på vei fra Norge til England. En antar at skipet ble torpedert. (Fra «Våre falne»)
