Var maskinmester på M/T O. A. KNUDSEN da skipet krigsforliste i mars 1942. Ble reddet og fortsatte som maskinmester på M/T TABOR. Omkom 9.mars 1943 da skipet ble torpedert ced Cape Agulhas, Sør Afrika, på reise fra Aden til Cape Town. Krigsmedaljen.
