Fra spørreskjema: "Jeg var på d/s Kong Harald fra 1/10 til 10/9-41 d/s Haakon Adalstein 15/9-41 - 31/5-42. Hvor vi ble bombet. Kong Harald 8/6-42 til 2/10-42 kom ombord i M/S Rangvald Jarl vi var i Bodø under bombing av Bodø havn og vi ble beordret til assistanse til troppestransportskibet SKRAMSTAD som var bombet ibrand vi tok opp ca 120 stykker senere assisterte vi ved bergingen av en Vestfall-Larsenbåt som var senket i nærheten av Bodø det var i oktober 43 var ombord til 22/20-44".
