Det marokkanske magasinet Zamane, juni 2024 (utdrag, oversatt fra fransk):
"Lars Olaf Larsen, who died in 1941, is buried in the Christian cemetery of El Jadida-Mazagan in Morocco in circumstances that have not been fully clarified. The presence of his tomb in this place is a bit of an enigma, especially since his burial place has remained unknown locally and even in his own country, Norway, as our investigations have shown. Starting from the few elements engraved on the marble of his tombstone, Mustapha Jmahri was able to retrace his unfortunate story. From now on, the 25-year-old sailor will no longer be the unknown gravein the cemetery of Mazagan. Mustapha Jmahri write article about Larsen in Moroccan magazine (Zamane, june 2024).
